Central Texas Table of Grace
Central Texas Table of Grace is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that exists to provide emergency shelter services to the children and youth in the foster care system. Our mission is to create a loving, nurturing, homelike environment for displaced youth, providing shelter and healthy food as well as teaching healthy habits and life skills to the youth in our care.
The Maternity Group Home provides housing and supportive services to homeless youths of Central Texas, parents, and those expecting, ages 16-21, for a period not exceeding 18 months. Services include case management, fully furnished apartments, grocery assistance, hygiene assistance, life skills, monthly bus pass, assistance obtaining state ID, and employment and educational services.
Central Texas Youth Services operates three street outreach programs, in Belton, Killeen, and Waco. The programs provide emergency assistance for youth ages 15-22. Services include a 24-hour hotline, emergency staff response, respite placement for minors, emergency food kits, and hygiene backpacks.
The Independent Living Program provides housing and supportive services to homeless youths of Central Texas, ages 18-21, for a period not exceeding 18 months. Services include case management, fully furnished apartments, grocery assistance, hygiene assistance, life skills, monthly bus pass, and employment and educational services.
Central Texas Youth Services operates three transition resource centers/drop-in centers, in Belton, Killeen, and Waco. These centers provide employment and education assistance to former foster youth, ages 16-25. Services include case management, employment and educational services, assistance with getting state identification needed for employment and education, bus passes, basic needs assistance, and incentive program opportunities.
The Transitional Living Program provides housing and supportive services to homeless youths of Central Texas, ages 16-21, for a period not exceeding 18 months. Services include case management, fully furnished apartments, grocery assistance, hygiene assistance, life skills, monthly bus pass, assistance obtaining state ID, and employment and educational services.
Option House provides emergency housing, supportive services, and transitional living program opportunities to youths of Central Texas, ages 3-17. It also offers a cooling off “respite” period up to three days for families who are in crisis or conflict.
