Communities In Schools is a non-profit drop out prevention agency established in the Coastal Bend area in 1986.

The mission of Communities In Schools is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. The program promotes and facilitates delivery of community social services, health, educational services, enrichment and other support services to youth and their families.
