The Step Onward Foundation is focused on addressing specific highly vulnerable individuals experiencing recovery and prevention of homelessness. We support young adult survivors of childhood homelessness both domestically and internationally and families with children experiencing acute health crises. We partner with other organizations and our donors to fill the gap in available supports and services as young people transition from childhood to adulthood and families transition in caring for their children in life threatening illness.
Our Mission at Step Onward Foundation is to break the cycle of homelessness for young adult survivors of childhood homelessness and for families put at risk of homelessness through their children’s health crises. We accomplish this by providing education, housing, wellness resources, advocacy and mentorship through sustaining partnerships with individuals and organizations in the communities we serve.
Our Vision is to help create a world at home and abroad where young adults and families who are at risk of homelessness reach their full potential as healthy, happy and self-sufficient adults who give back to their communities. Our support is an investment in the life of each young person we serve, and ultimately an investment in the communities in which they live and work.
