Call for Presenters

Thank you for your interest in presenting at the 2019 TNOYS Conference June 25-28 in Houston, TX! Our conference theme is “Step Into Your Superpower,” and we will welcome an integrated audience of youth services providers, youth (ages 15-24), families, and other community members.

Please read all information before applying to present to ensure you understand this year’s conference theme, structure, and goals. This year, we are once again fully integrating youth and adult partnerships into the fabric of the event, and priority will be given to sessions that incorporate or showcase youth-adult partnerships. Please also review this list of priority topics that we would like to see showcased at the conference.

TNOYS will review presenter applications on a rolling basis until January 18, 2019. We will not consider incomplete applications. We plan to make all selections and notify presenters by mid-February 2019. Presenters selected will be entitled to conference registration discounts. There will be limited scholarships available for youth presenters and attendees.

Questions can be directed to events@tnoys.org.

Please complete the application below to apply to present a workshop, institute, or featured presentation at TNOYS’ 2018 annual conference:

2019 Call for Presenters - Application

  • Confirmation and Scheduling

Note: Longer institute sessions will occur on Tuesday, June 25th. Sessions for adult/provider-only and youth-only audiences will occur on Wednesday, June 26th. Sessions for a mixed audience will occur on Thursday, June 27th and Friday, June 28th. It is difficult to accommodate specific schedule requests due to the nature of the conference, which reserves some time slots for youth/adult partnerships and others for a professional audience.
I have read the information above on the format and priority topic areas for TNOYS’ 36th Annual Conference on Services for Youth and Families and understand that the application I am submitting will be for one of the three intended audiences (youth, adult, mixed). Based on this information, I believe that my presentation will further TNOYS’ mission of strengthening services for Texas youth and families.
