We are excited to announce our 33rd Annual TNOYS Conference on Services to Youth and Families is taking place August 9-12th, 2016, at the Westin Galleria in Houston. Pre-conference institutes will be held on August 9th and the conference runs August 10-12th. TNOYS has a reserved room block for attendees at a discounted price of $131 and free parking is available for all attendees.

Our four-day event will offer exciting keynotes and interactive workshops that will incorporate our theme, “Stronger Together,” and show the importance of collaboration and youth and family engagement. Workshops will be focused on, but not limited to, research and evidence based practices, new and innovative practices from the field, collaboration, relevant policies and laws, and organizational capacity. We are happy to announce that we are inviting youth and families to join us for the conference this year on Thursday, August 11th and Friday, August 12th. The youth and family track will include opportunities for experiential learning and content on leadership and self-advocacy.

TNOYS provides continuing education credit hours for professionals. We are an approved CEU provider for licensed social workers and licensed professional counselors (LPC Program Provider #2420; Social Work Provider #6875), and our credit hours are typically approved for LMFTs. CEUs are also appropriate for LCCAs and CPAs as long as the sessions you select are directly relevant to youth in residential child care. We are in the process of securing CEUs for Certified Peer Specialists and Certified Family Partners as well. We will maintain and provide documentation of your overall conference attendance; you can use our CEU form to maintain documentation of your attendance for specific workshops and sessions. You are responsible for knowing the requirements of your licensing board and selecting sessions that meet those requirements. Please contact your certification/licensing board if you have questions specific to your license/certification. By attending all keynote and workshop sessions, you can earn up to 15 continuing education/training hours. The pre-conference institutes offer additional credit hours.
