LOCAL YOUTH ALLIANCE RECEIVES STATEWIDE AWARD FOR INNOVATION
HOUSTON – The Community Youth Outreach Alliance, formed by three Montgomery County organizations in 2014, is being recognized today with the Steve Wick Innovative Program Award from Texas Network of Youth Services (TNOYS). TNOYS, which is dedicated to supporting critical services for young Texans and their families, presented the award at its 33rd annual statewide conference at Houston’s Westin Galleria, in recognition of the contributions that have been made by the three members of the Alliance -- Montgomery County Youth Services, Angel Reach, and CASA Child Advocates of Montgomery County.

AMARILLO WOMAN RECEIVES STATEWIDE AWARD FOR SERVICE TO YOUTH
HOUSTON – Amarillo resident Yannin Marquez is being recognized here today as statewide Professional Youth Worker of the Year by the Texas Network of Youth Services (TNOYS) at its annual conference. TNOYS, which is dedicated to supporting critical services for Texas youth and their families, will present (?) the award in recognition of Marquez’s work as a case manager providing behavioral and mental health services to families in the town of Herferd.

HCPS LEADER RECEIVES STATEWIDE AWARD OF EXCELLENCE
HOUSTON –Mary Green, director of Transitional Services for Harris County Protective Services (HCPS), is being recognized today with the June Bucy Award for Excellence from Texas Network of Youth Services (TNOYS). TNOYS, which is dedicated to supporting critical services for Texas youth and their families, presented the award at its 33rd annual statewide conference at the Westin Galleria, in recognition of the leadership and commitment to excellence Green has displayed in her work at HCPS.

SAN ANTONIO WOMAN RECEIVES STATEWIDE VOLUNTEER AWARD
HOUSTON – San Antonio resident Cathy Hamilton is being recognized here today as statewide Volunteer of the Year by the Texas Network of Youth Services (TNOYS) at its annual conference. TNOYS, which is dedicated to supporting critical services for Texas youth and their families, presented the award in recognition of Hamilton’s work to make the San Antonio Threads boutique for teens a reality – giving new clothes and a boost of confidence to teen girls in foster care.
