This evaluation report of the Planning Phase of the Houston/Harris County Transition-Age Youth and Families initiative offers findings, insights, and recommendations for organizations, funders, and youth/caregiver leaders working to engage youth and families in service planning and delivery. it captures the work of TNOYS and 8 Houston organizations over a 6-month planning period.
During the planning phase, TNOYS Communications Specialist Sinclair Walker worked with Youth and Caring Council members to creatively use their voices, share their opinions, and tell their stories about mental health and mental health services in Houston. What resulted was four short videos and enthusiasm for a larger video series that will continue into the implementation phase.
