
TNOYS’ 43rd Annual Conference takes place from Wednesday, June 10 to Friday, June 12, with Pre-Conference Institutes on Tuesday, June 9.
Guided by the theme Leveling Up Our Impact, this year’s event features 50+ sessions with game-changing strategies and skills that will equip attendees to overcome obstacles and make a difference for young people. Tuesday, June 9: Pre-Conference Institutes & Early Check-In
Pre-Conference Institutes are full-day (4-6 hours) training sessions on an in-depth clinical skill or evidence-based tool or approach. Please note that Pre-Conference Institutes require an additional registration on the registration form. You may register for Pre-Conference Institutes in conjunction with regular conference registration, or you may register for Pre-Conference Institutes separately.
Attendees for the full conference may arrive early on Tuesday to check in. Early check-in takes place from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. in the Galleria Foyer.
Wednesday, June 10: Full Conference Day 1

Featured Speakers

Laura Hughes, MPH, Founder and Principal of Gusto Partners, LLC, believes in “harnessing the power of the communities we serve by placing them at the center of their customers’ content development and storytelling.”
She specializes in stakeholder and relationship leadership, creating environments for iterative learning, social change, and leading cross-sector collaboration. She is a strategic leader with a proven track record of scaling impactful models, having held leadership roles in public, private, and philanthropic sectors. She believes in cultivating a deep understanding of, and working with, communities to address their needs. Her superpowers are stewarding relationships across systems with discipline and ease, and combining strategic problem-solving with the power of persuasive storytelling to drive meaningful change.

Judge Steven C. Teske currently resides in Tucson, Arizona, working as legal counsel for the Department of Social Services for the Pascua Yaqui Pueblo Tribe. He is also a consultant to juvenile courts and justice systems on systemic transformation to improve outcomes for youth. Judge Teske has testified before Congress and several state legislatures on detention reform, zero tolerance policies in schools, juvenile justice grant accountability, child welfare reform, and the Juvenile Justice Delinquency Prevention Act re-authorization. He has written several articles on juvenile justice reform, including his model on collaborations between schools and juvenile justice. He is also the recipient of numerous awards and recognitions, notably the 2018 Juvenile Law Center Leadership Prize.
