This session, TNOYS and our partners are advocating for an agenda that recognizes youth and young adults’ strengths, invests in their futures, and bolsters the critical programs that help them to thrive.
We’re proud to champion 16 policy and budget priorities that were directly influenced by over 350 youth-serving providers, youth, and young adults who have lived experiences of systems-involvement. Thank you to everyone from across seven youth-serving systems who joined our six town hall events throughout 2024 and contributed to committees, workgroups, and more.
TNOYS Capitol Day for Members
Thursday, February 6, 2025, at the Texas State Capitol in Austin
TNOYS invites our members to a day-long event at the Texas Capitol! Members have the chance to meet with legislative offices to educate policymakers on issues affecting Texas’ most vulnerable young people and the organizations that serve them. 2025 Day of Action for Youth (DAY)

Every two years, TNOYS hosts Day of Action for Youth (DAY) at the Texas Capitol. This dynamic event is a chance for youth, young adults, and members to join together to learn about and advocate for TNOYS’ policy and budget priorities, meet with policymakers who represent them, and experience advocacy in action.
