Benefits for Members in 2020

Youth and family services providers have faced many new challenges this year, and TNOYS was excited to support these amazing organizations while continuing to provide valuable training and networking opportunities. We supported members in a wide variety of ways, including the following:

  • Following the COVID-19 outbreak, we distributed critical information and resources to members, including  over $74,000 in supplies and mini-grants
  • Our team hosted a series of virtual meeting to connect members with state leadership and ensure policymakers could address frontline needs during COVID-19
  • TNOYS hosted dozens of events, webinars, and training sessions that were free or discounted for members. Topics included youth homelessness, emergency response, Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Youth (CSEY), transitional foster care services, and much more.
  • Members enjoyed discounted admission to TNOYS’ Annual Conference, which convened more than 500 youth-serving professionals to earn CEUs, network, and develop new skills.

Looking ahead to 2021, TNOYS has many benefits in store for members. We’re planning multiple trainings, conferences, and events, both virtually and in-person. We’re also busy preparing for the next legislative session, and we’re working alongside members to make sure the needs of our network are represented at the Texas Capitol.
